Good preparation is the key to a successful garden. Dorothy Mullen, the force behind the Suppers Programs and the founder of the amazing gardens at Riverside Elementary School, will use the raised bed at Whole Earth to demonstrate the steps you need to take before you plant your garden. Stop by any time between 10AM and Noon to talk with Dorothy about spring gardening tips including how to prepare your raised bed for planting and how to start seeds indoors and directly in the soil.

This informal workshop will be held outside and will combine demonstrations with some hands-on projects. We will have seed starter and seeds available if you want to start a few plants for your garden.
